It’s a sad day

This is a sad day for me.  I’ve come to say farewell.  I will let MB tell you all about it.

Hi, Babs here.  I’ve been struggling to keep this blog updated as much as I would like.  Getting photos of the cats is getting harder.  They are either out all day, or sleeping in the evening.  Sukie still won’t allow us in the garden when she is out there. She panics and rushes indoors.  I come in and she goes out again.

I never wanted this blog to become boring, and that’s what I think it’s become now.  Don’t tell Sukie I said that though. I know I’m not doing Simplycats justice any longer and it concerns me.  That is my primary reason for closing this blog down.

I hope you will continue to visit Beetle Blog and I will continue to visit your blogs, even if I don’t always comment, I am reading them in my feed reader.

I’ve had the best time and would like to thank you all for your support and for welcoming me into the cat blogospere so quickly.    I may well post photos of the cats on my Photo Blog and on my Flickr account.  I promised Sukie I would :O)

I will leave the blog up and live for anyone who may want to check out the archives – before it got boring!

    Noes! Don’t do this Babs! I would never have found your wonderful blogs if not for Simply Cats. It Is Not Boring! I don’t know why Sukie won’t share the garden with you but there has to be a reason. Search your memory. Maybe there was a perceived threat to her at some time and you chased her in for safety, or something like that. Whatever, please don’t write off this blog, PRETTY PLEASE?! :-( *Sob* xxx

    And now I have a sad, too. I will always keep up with your kitty photos wherever you post and share them. Maybe when you have something to show, you can Twitter and Facebook them? Please do, as we will miss your beautiful and funny pictures on this blog.

    p.s. When I’m sad, I overeat, so I’m blaming you for my five pound weight gain, Mmmm-k?

    No No NOOOO this can not be.. do you not know that I love to sit here and drool at your beautiful girls?!?! And even my momma goes weak in the knees but for different reasons :p ahha
    But seriously, Don’t say that you are “closing it down”, just say that you won’t be as regular, leave it open for when and if the opportunity arises :)
    Momma just is in a rut blogging lately,we still visit every 3rd day or so and mostly just read in our feeder too and try and comment here and there but we know how much we loves the blogging when we is into it that we don’t want to say we are going.
    We hopes that maybe even now and again still continue with this bloggie :) Just post when you have something, that way no pressure, we is keeping you in our feed just incase..

    Oh, and you ended it on a very high note! I think that is the most fabulous photo of Sukie EVER! Wow.

    I think I know what you mean. I had more ideas for posts for the Gandalf and Grayson’s blog than I could shake a stick at, but something happened that I never expected… They became too popular, and it became more about stealing time from everything else just to try to go around to the 60+ commenters a day.

    I am glad you’re not giving up photography!
