We need purrs and prayers
You know that Livvie got hit by a big metal thing? Well it damaged her nerves and her front paw hasn’t work very well since.
On Thursday MB saw Livvie fall over. She got up straight away and MB didn’t take too much notice, until she saw her do it again later.
MB was worried that her nerve damage was spreading to her back leg, and decided that she would have to see the vet.
Livvie went upstairs to sleep on the spare bed, where she always goes. Later MB went to check on her and this is what she found.

MB said she thinks that Mitzi knew Livvie needed comforting.
Later that night Livvie came downstairs and was falling over all the time, and was very frightened. MB stayed up all night with her to comfort her.
She couldn’t get hold of the vet until later, on Friday, and he said bring her immediately.
He said it could be one of three things – a minor stroke, disorientated brain, possibly due to her accident or a tumor.
None of these things are good, but please pray that it isn’t a tumor. She is bright in herself, eating well and purring lots.
Here is a little video of her. She is doing a bit better now and moving about more or less as normal – not so frightened anymore. If it isn’t a tumor she could learn to live with it if necessary.
MB hasn’t slept for 36 hours so is feeling a bit tired now.
Poor Livvie please pray for her.

Poor Livvie:0( She is a very brave cat and has learnt to live with her disability. If it is not a brain tumour, (which I pray it isn’t) then she will be able to cope.

Oh no! My mom has been so busy I have not had a chance to visit anyone much, and this is terrible. My mnom and I have leaky eyes looking at Livvie’s video because it reminds us of our Taffy and what happened to her. I hope it is not that bad for Livvie. We think our Taffy had either cancer or a tumor and she started having seizures. Gradually she stopped eating and could not walk straight any more and then finally stopped drinking. That is when mom helped her to the bridge. I will purray and purray so hard for Livvie and so will my sisters and my mom.
Purrs,
JB

Its a scary time, I know. My thoughts are with you, and please know that your vet had to tell you everything it might be to prepare you, but most of the time things don’t turn out to be the worst case scenario. Stay positive.
