Scaredy, scaredy scaredy!
See this picture? Do you think it’s a corpse under our floorboards?
All I know is that it scared me a lot when strange men came into the house. They were here all day yesterday and again today AND they say they will be here for two more days!

They are making a lot of noise ALL over the house. M&M are not happy either. They don’t have any water all day long and all the floors are up…..
Anyway, back to me – I am who this post is about, not those men!
I was so scared and M&M put me in a room, with Livvie, to keep us safe. This is where I went all day!

I was supposed to go to the vet today but M&M said that I have been so scared with all this, that they didn’t want me to have to go out in a car (which I’ve not been in since I was a few weeks old) and then go and see a vet. That would scare me too much all at once.
They have cancelled my appointment, which I am pleased about. Now I have to go next week. I will still be very scared and M&M are worried about me. They say that I am too scared of things – I even get scared of them sometimes, if they are carrying something, or wearing a coat!
I can’t help it can I?

Sounds like you are just being sensible! All those noises and strangers ARE scairty!

Poor kittie, it’s no fun to be scared. Hope things get back to normal soon for you and those noisy men leave. My cats will be going to the vet in a few weeks–hopefully I can get Manny into the carrier. I know he’ll put up a fuss.

We are sorry that you are so scared. We like meeting new people, but all that noise and the messed-up floors doesn’t sound nice at all.

Oh my goodness, that looks very scairty! Noise AND strangers in the house. I am glad you do not have to go to the vet’s on top of all that.

So the good news is you didn’t have to go to the v*t today. The bad news is that you still have to go… and there are scary things going on at home. This sounds like a good reason to take extra time with your humans after the strange men are gone for the day. Lots of cuddling makes everything OK.

I would be right under the covers with ya, kiddo.
Strangers making noise ain’t for me, either! That is one scary-looking floor-whole… hope it’s not some kind of kitty trap…

Oooh, that does sound pretty scary! The vet isn’t that scary though, so you don’t have to be TOO afraid.

Uhh, I can feel your pain. The last days it has been very very noisy here as they were renovating the apartment next door… using the drilling machine at 1 AM!
I guess it was a good plan to stay under the cozy blanket. You look so adorable
The visit at the vet… for the ‘big surgery’ or something else?

Our Misty is scared all the time too! I hope you get through all this ok. Hey, another coincidence that you had to be put in a room for safe keeping, just like we did!
